Course Details
TESOL stands for "Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages." It's an approach to teaching English language skills to non-native speakers. This includes various methods, strategies, and techniques to facilitate language acquisition and proficiency for individuals whose first language isn't English.
Our intermediate level Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages is our most sought after course for teachers who require a more in-depth focus on teaching methodologies and the technical side of teaching. It is often studied by teachers who want to teach in larger settings, like a university, high school or primary school where the class size is large and the student demographics are varied across slightly different ages.
This course is suitable for those who wish to teach General English, English test subjects (IELTS, TOEFL or TOEIC), Conversational English, English Grammar, Academic Writing and EAP Courses, and gain advanced understandings of different teaching methods.
For students who have a letter from their current or former employer that states they have previous teaching experience are able to have 'Practical In-class Teaching Experience' added to the final course of up-to 150 hours (the total number of hours added depends on the clarity of the letter in a number of areas, including subjects taught, length of employment, responsibilities, and overall reference). There is no additional cost for this addition.
We understand that students from all walks of life would like to study with us so for this reason we provide affordable programmes with easy online access, you'll watch video clips of our professors teaching, read through relevant material and receive a free e-book on modern teaching methodologies.
