Final lesson in Academic Reading
This evening's lesson is the final class on IELTS Academic Reading. It covers Hedging, Inversion, Expressing Preferences, Modals of Obligation, and the Third Conditional.
This class focuses primarily on completing the Note Completion activity of the student sheets. Remember, it's always crucial to follow my recommended strategy:
1. Read the instructions
2. Choose keywords
3. Consider paraphrased information such as examples of a word or idea, and synonyms.
4. Scan for (3) keywords, and whenever you come across multiple keywords or paraphrased information in the same area of the passage then skim read it.
