This evening's class revises the main content of IELTS Academic Reading.

Episode 8

Try to use the following technique:

Step 1. Read the instructions

Step 2: Read the questions and then select keywords.

Step 3: Scan for the same, or similar, keywords. After you have found the keywords in the passage, you should then scan that sentence. Is it the same meaning as the question? If yes, then you have found the location to answer the question.

Step 4: Elimination Strategy - if there are numerous sentences with similar information to the question, then you need to use the Elimination Strategy. Eliminate the information which does not contain all the information as the question.
